Church Membership

What is a church member?

Church membership is a privilege and a responsibility. As Christians, we are called to join in the ministry of a local body of believers. We come together to worship our Lord corporately, to encourage each other and to help each other grow. We have a responsibility to share the Gospel with our community, to minister to those who are hurting, to be the salt and light to a lost world. Becoming a church member is a commitment to live for Christ and serve Him, to love His children and be His hands and feet every day, wherever He sends us.

How do I become a church member?

We receive members in one of the following three ways: by letter from a church of like faith, by statement of faith and/or by water baptism. If you are interested in becoming a member of Living Hope Baptist, please contact Bro. John and he will make arrangements to meet with you regarding membership.
